HtmlText not allowing edit

Hello,

I'm currently trying to edit a powerapps form, from which I've previously had a multi-line text box, which is now displaying HTML.

After some searching I've set up a HtmlText element, which is correctly linked up with the comments box and is now displaying the text correctly.

The primary issue i'm experiencing is, the HtmlText element is in "Edit" mode but it doesn't allow me to "Edit".

Could somebody advise me?

I don't know if this is your issue, but--assuming you are using SharePoint lists--one thing I've found is that if you edit the properties of your column in SharePoint, there's an option Use enhanced rich text (Rich text with pictures, tables, and hyperlinks). If it's selected (Yes), then it will throw a bunch of HTML and rich-text tags. If you uncheck it (No), then you will just have plain-text without all that tag code.

Ideally, I just want my input text box to not show HTML, just show normal multi-line text.

What can i do to resolve this?

The comments column is perfectly fine.
