I have a hyperlink field in a Sharepoint list which stores a link to a document on Sharepoint. I've read various posts re accessing the Display field associated with they hyperlink and from what i can tell, there is no way to update this portion of the hyperlink via powerapps. What's strange is that i pulled up the record on my phone and edited the list (using powerapps) and the Display field associated with the hyperlink is present. I was able to edit the record and input my desired text which is then displayed in my Sharepoint view.
My question is, why and how can I access the field on my mobile powerapp but not on the tablet app?
Hi,
The Hyperlink Type should be available to be edited through the Web portal:
The Picture type is currently read-only.

The link is available but the Display name is not available. Each hyplink field in Sharepoint has a link and associated display name, how do I access the Display Name in powerapps?
I agree. This is a meaningful issue as the links are crazy long and look pretty poor - should be able to show the "Display Name" portion of the Hyperlink as you can in a sharepoint list or form.
Hello, wondering if there is a solution to this? It seems that the display name for hyperlink field is missing in Power apps.
Don't think there is but here's a feature suggestion from the Power Apps Ideas sub forum: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/Description-Field-from-Hyperlink-Column-in-Shar...
