I can't see a new column result (addcolumns from child table)

Hi there,

I need your help because I don't know what happen in my table.

I have this code in Item propety in the Parent table:

Sort(
     AddColumns(
            Filter(
                  '[dbo].[tbPO]';
                   IdProject = pry ;
                   TextSearchBoxPO.Text in Supplier || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in NSDC || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in IdPO || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in Address || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in County || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in CreatedBy || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in Notes
             );
             "ImporteSum";
             Sum(Filter('[dbo].[tbPODetails]'; IdPO = Id); Importe);
             "Euros";
             CurrencyChange * Sum(Filter('[dbo].[tbPODetails]'; IdPO = Id); Importe)
     );
     IdPO;
     If(
        SortDescending;
        Ascending;
        Descending
    )

Finally I solve it!!

Only I changed the sum (filter) from the Id fields to the code fields (Purchase Order code - text field), and works perfect.

Sort(
     AddColumns(
            Filter(
                  '[dbo].[tbPO]';
                   IdProject = pry ;
                   TextSearchBoxPO.Text in Supplier || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in NSDC || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in NPO || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in Address || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in County || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in CreatedBy || TextSearchBoxPO.Text in Notes
             );
             "ImporteSum";
             Sum(Filter('[dbo].[tbPODetails]'; PO = NPO); Importe);
             "Euros";
             CurrencyChange * Sum(Filter('[dbo].[tbPODetails]'; PO = NPO); Importe)
     );
     Id;
     If(
        SortDescending;
        Ascending;
        Descending
    )
)

The strange is that it worked before, but I haven't managed to know what happened.

Regards.

Hi @Manarjomar

With these types of problem, I would first check that the data is correct.

Do you definitely have rows in '[dbo].[tbPODetails]' that match the Id?

Is CurrencyChange definitely not blank? If it is and you multiply it by the Sum, that would also produce a blank result.

@timl,

Yes, I checked all of that and (for me) all is good:

Any idea?

Thank you.

Other tests that I did...

- Delete and Make the FK and relation.

- Delete and create records in each table.

Nothing works...
