I don't see rules tab in app editor. I only see properties and Advanced tabs. I have powerapps included with office 365 business. Does rules need P1 or P2 license?

Thanks @iAm_ManCat! I think that helps to suggest that this is a problem that's affecting only the UK/Europe.

MS is making a change to the visibility of the Rules tab. In future it will be hidden by default and can be enabled using a switch in the Experimental Features settings. There is supposed to be a Blog post announcing this today. The problem is that it seems to have rolled out early in some regions. This is complicated by the fact that the Experimental switch to control it didn't roll-out at the same time. MS is working on a fix to resolve the issue right now. But in the Future the Rules Tab will be hidden by default and will need to be enabled for new PowerApps in the Experimental settings if you wish to use it.

For anyone monitoring this thread, the following blog post about the deprecation of rules might be of interest.

The current implementation of the Rules feature will be phased out. This starts by introducing the toggle in File > Settings Advanced settings. For now, all new apps and old apps without rules will have this set to off by default. All apps with existing rules will have this toggle set to on by default. The apps with Rules will still continue to work, all previously authored rules will still work. You will be able to turn Rules on again for apps that don’t have them, however this is discouraged at this time.

Could you provide a screenshot? Rules do not require a special license and should be avialable at all levels.

The Rules tab is no longer appearing for me either. It used to be next to the Properties tab. Can you still see it in your editor?

I was thinking it had gone away too, but I just created a new PowerApp this morning from blank and its still there in my editor.

What browser are you using? i'm using the Dev Edge browser and when I start a new app it still shows for me.

I tested on Edge, Chrome and EdgeDev.

I used Europe site. I don't now how probe in USA site.

I think this is a regional problem. The Rules tab doesn't appear for me in the UK tenant that I usually use. It doesn't appear when I create a new app, and it doesn't appear when I use Edge either.

However, it does appear for apps in my US tenant.

Maybe someone else in Europe could check to see if appears? @iAm_ManCat maybe??
