Re: I need help to connect my data sources to my edit form in powerApps

Hi @AntoineREY ,

Yes, currently, powerbi api only supports two actions:add rows to a dataset and refresh dataset.

What's more, you could only use this formula to add rows:

PowerBI.AddRows(groupid,datasetid,tablename)

Using edit form to add is not supported.

If you want more functions , I'm afraid you could only customize connector.

Here's a doc about how to create a custom connector for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/custom-connectors/define-blank

Re: I need help to connect my data sources to my edit form in powerApps

Hi @AntoineREY ,

Do you want to display and update data of powerbi by using edit form?

I'm afraid it's not supported in PowerApps currently.

For now, the integration of powerbi and powerapps only has three ways:

1)use powerbi tile in powerapps

2)call powerbi api in poweraspps(add rows to a dataset/refresh dataset)

3)embed powerapps app in powerbi

If you want to add rows to a dataset in powerapps, firstly you need to connect with powerbi.

Then, use this formula:

PowerBI.AddRows(groupid,datasetid,tablename)

Here's a doc about this api for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/powerbi/#add-rows-to-a-dataset

Ok so with the API I can't update a Row in my dataset? I can just add one if I get it right?
