I need help with making my boolean say yes or no, vs the default of on or off.

I created a powerapp and imported my data from Sharepoint, My Yes/No column displays as on or off on my app I created. Can someone help me step by step on how to change the values to display "Yes or No" instead of "On or Off" on my boolean? Screen shots would be very helpful, as I am very new at powerapps.

Hey @kentxu

Just select the toggle and go into the Advanced tab on properties list - there you will see a property called FalseText and TrueText - just change the text here to what you want it to say, so in your case you'd have "Yes" in your TrueText and "No" in your FalseText

Here is the ouput and the code used along with a video

Toggle2.Value will give you the true/false

If(Toggle2, Toggle2.TrueText, Toggle2.FalseText) will give you the true/false text depending on the value

Thank you! will that also automatically update the yes/no fields in my detail screen as well?

If you have any other places where this value is show as a toggle you would need to amend them as well to Yes/No.

Also these controls are going to be boolean controls regardless of what you change the false/true text to be. For example if you change them to "Logged In" and "Logged Out" the values of those respectively would still be true and false. If you want to save the value rather than the boolean then you can use something like:

If(Toggle, Toggle.TrueText, Toggle.FalseText) which would then output "Logged In" if true and "Logged Out" if false.

Could you show me a screenshot on how to do this?
