I need to show room capacity from sharepoint list in book a room app template

Greetings Comm,

I have created a sharepoint list that has the same names of the rooms created in the resources in the exchange directory, I need the formula that will compare the same names of the rooms and show the capacity value in the app.

Refer to the below screenshots:

Many thanks!

Hi @Kareem_Shamel

Set the Text property to

LookUp(RoomsBooking, Title= ThisItem.Title,Capacity)

General Syntax is

LookUp('SP List',ColumnA=ValuetoCompare,ColumnBToRetrive)

Hi @Kareem_Shamel

The default property is fine and the syntax is fine.

Looks like the control you placed is outside the gallery. Please select the gallery and insert the label control. And set the Text property to

LookUp(RoomsBooking, Title= ThisItem.Title,Capacity)

Need to pass the tile to get the capacity value.

LookUp(RoomsBooking, Title= <TITLE VALUE>,Capacity). Same as

Greetings @StalinPonnusamy ,

Can you kindly advise what would be the title value? It should be dynamic right?

Yes, This should be dynamics. That's why we need to insert a Label inside the Gallery. We need to pass whatever the value displaying as a Title (11th Floor Meeting Room ST) on your screen.

In this below example, I'm passing Title (ThisItem.SingleEvent.Value)

I am not sure exactly which value needs to be entered after thisitem.

Try ThisItem.Name

Select the value where it displays "11th Floor Meeting Room ST", go to text/default property. Same this need to go here

LookUp(RoomsBooking, Title= <"11th Floor Meeting Room ST">,Capacity)

like

LookUp(RoomsBooking, Title= ThisItem.Name,Capacity)

I tried it already and didn't also.
