IPad version 3.18061.12 gallery control problems

The latest update for IPad is causing problems with gallery controls. A gallery whose items were sourced from a filtered SQL Server table would not allow user to select a record - tapping a record just did nothing. Cured this by setting it to source from a local Collection instead, which was itself sourced from the SQL Server table. But now galleries fed from filters on the selected item of this parent gallery are showing the last but one selection, rather than the current.

No problems when the app is used on a PC - only the IPad. And the IPad was fine before 3.18061.12. IPad Air running IOS 11.4

Hello JonathanG,

We will check this issue and will update this thread.

Thanks,

I've found a workaround - putting a FirstN() wrapper around the Items definition for the gallery control.

Even through the number of records in the gallery is modest when actively filtered, the potential is there to exceed 500 if not filtered. So defining Items for a child gallery as something like

FirstN(Filter('[MySQLServerTable]',FK=galParent.Selected.ID),200)

now works on IPad in v3.18061.12, whereas just

Filter('[MySQLServerTable]',FK=galParent.Selected.ID)

doesn't. But both work fine on a PC!

You learn something every day...

I am experiencing the same issues with galleries on both the iPad and iPhone. It is across all apps since the update and due to the large number of galleries involved, implementing a work around for each one is far less than ideal.
