Icon Fill based on Gallery Text field.

Hey everyone,

First time posting. Long time reading.

I am trying to add an icon that changes from Green, Yellow, or Red depending on the ItemParent's approval status.

Approval status is a field named BICF_Approval_Status within the SharePoint data source list.

It's name on its Detail Card is BICF_Approval_Status_DataCard1
In the Gallery the field is titled: BS_Approval_Status_Field

The three different text variables that could appear in this field are;   Pending, Denied, and Approved

Which column do I reference, do I use an IF statement, Switch Statement? Do I use 3 different icons and make each visible if text = "Pending" or text = "Approved" etc.

Functionally I just want to finish my app since this is one of the last steps.  The problem solver in me wants to add this to the arsenal so I can use it in future apps.

THANK YOU REZADORRANI!!!! My exact solution was the following:

Switch(BICF_Approval_Status,"Pending",Yellow,"Approved",Green, "Denied",Red)

Hi @Anonymous

Use the switch  function in the fill property of the icon and accordingly set the color

Switch(valuefromcolumn ,"Pending",Yellow,"Approved",Green, "Rejected",Red)
