Images from Sharepoing Image Library not displaying.

While building the app and running the app images display fine. After publishing app, users do not see the images. Recently I had to change my password. I also cleard cookies and cache. After changing password and clearing cookies/cache no images display for me when i run the published app. If i navigate to the sharepoint site and then refresh the app, all the images appear. Why? Please help. Thanks!

Were you using the SharePoint library as data source, or did you mean that you have used the image from SharePoint library in SharePoint picture or hyperlink column and use SharePoint list as the data source?

I am storing images in a SharePoint Picture Library.

I used this example of embedding URI of the image into a column on my sharepoint list. This seems like a hack / workaround but it worked.
