Thank you for responding. I appreciate you doing so.
Before reaching out I did read the articles you provide.
Sadly neither were of much help. Building the app isn't an option given the lack of detail and or Power App changes.
There is a very sigidficant problem for users if the technology evloves at a rate that relatively new apps break or cannot be built.

I found a solution. Don't use the zip file. Extract file from the zipped folder and open the msapp file in Power Apps.
