We were testing out the Improved App Rendering feature to see if it worked for our app.
I noticed some improvements, but we came across a serious issue as well.
When scrolling a gallery using Google Chrome as the browser, the app stops responding and Chrome crashes.
It may be the version of Chrome that we are using, but this only happens with Improved App Rendering turned on.
The issue happens while using Google Chrome on a PC, when doing a mouse scroll in a gallery.
Sadly, I don't have a session ID as I had to quickly roll back the update that I pushed out.
I can try to make a test environment and get one for you there.
Could you please share a bit more about the issue on your side?
I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned.
Please take a try to clear cache of your browser, then try your app again to check if the issue is solved.
In addition, you could also consider take a try to run your app within PowerApps Mobile App in your Mobile device, check if the issue still exists.

I have done some more testing on my end and discovered something.
The amount of memory used almost doubles when using Improved App Rendering.
This may not seem like a big deal, but our organization used HP Thin Clients with a Citrix virutal environment.
So we are talking about many users using double the memory at the same time on the same servers.
