In operator throwing delegation error

Hello,

We use a clearcollect to retrieve the employees from Sharepoint Lists (Collection: Employees) and then we are using another clearcollect that looks for the courses these employees took.

We get the courses like this:

ClearCollect(Courses,Filter(Courses_Employees, ID_Employee in Employees.ID))

So we are looking at the Courses_Employees table, trying to filter only the Courses that the employees we searched for took, which is why we use the in operator. But this is throwing a delegation error for the "in" operator when working with large operators, we would like to get them immediately based on the employees we searched rather than using buttons to retrieve that employee specific courses.

How can we overcome this limitation? We can't use premium connectors.

TIA

Hi @SCabrera98 ,

Is it not about standard vs. premium connector, this is a limitation of the SharePoint connector described here.

The StartsWith() function is a function which can be delegated to sharepoint, but I guess this not satisfy completly your needs.

As work around, you can use a PowerAutomate flow and in Sharepoint - Get Items action query calling ODATA substringof() , but you needs some skills to work with data.

Hope it helps !
