Inserting a Component in a Gallery?

I have a gallery inside another gallery and want to insert a custom Component into the inner gallery (although it won't work even in just the initial gallery either). Is there a way to do this? I also cannot copy and paste an input box that I have in the inner gallery. Not sure why. Any help would be great, thanks!

Components cannot be used in Galleries or Forms or DataCards.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Was hoping that wasn't the case. Oh well. Thanks!

Hello

What is true at a date may become wrong a couple of months later 🙂

You can add a component in a gallery. For that, you'll have to put a container in your gallery, and then your component inside the container.

Unfortunately, it looks like the onReset method of the component is not correctly called for all components of the gallery 😞

Thanks for the follow up! Good to know. Worked around it for this implementation, but will look into this more for future needs.

You are absolutely correct @alexsolex, month by month things seem to change. This work around was something I was able to do just a couple months ago however today I am not able to make it work again. I'm using Power Apps Studio Authoring version 3.22044.27 at the moment.

Confirmed @JasonSmithTBS, I also can't do the workaround as of Oct 11 2022.
