Inventory overview based on orders

I was giving an task to make an inventory app based on hardware orders.

I have made an two apps.

1. The first is one where the users in the organization can request a new computer

2. The second app is an overview of the requests, where the IT department can progress the orders, such as assigning a specific computer and such.

Now that should somehow be connected to an inventory app.

So we should have an overview of stock - if the stock is getting low, the department should be able to order new computers, when the computers are received, the order amount should be added to the stock.

Further, when a computer is assigned an order, that type of computer should go out of the stock.

Anyone who have tried this and have a good way of doing this.

Re: Inventory overview based on orders

I haven't personally built anything like this before, but if your inventory if just a collection you should be able to read and write to it through your app. It would depend on a few factors of how you have this set up but it should be possible. You can also always create a ticket with Microsoft Support if you are having any issues after that.
