Invoice line item storage

I want to know how to save individual line items of a invoice from a single form.

I use Excel as the datasource.

In an invoice The details such as Invoice no, Date, Customer remains the same for multiple items.

I want to save the record of all Individual items sold from a single form entry.

Is it possible.

Thanks kindly help me on the issue

Re: Invoice line item storage

Hi @Durai ,

Do you want to create multiple records and update some specific items with the same value?

Could you tell me how many records do you want to create at the same time?

I’ve made a similar test as follows(create 5 records at the same time as an example):

Firstly, create a collection using the same fields name that you want to update with same value.

Secondly, set the edit form submit button’s OnSelect:

On your side, you could try:

Collect(collectionname,{id:1, Invoice no:…, Date:…., Customer:….},{id:2},{id:3},{id:4},{id:5})

ForAll(collectionname,Patch(datasourcename,Defaults(datasourcename),{ Invoice no:…, Date:…., Customer:….}))

Re: Invoice line item storage

Hello @v-yutliu-msft ,

Thanks for the update.

My issue in detail is,

1) When i create entries as shown in ItemCreation.png screen, and when i select SAVE RECORD, i want powerapps to save data in the table in row wise as shown in ItemCreationTable Entry2.png. P.S.See that the Recipt ID and Date is common for all entries.

2)And when i create another record the Receipt ID changes to 2, But when there are only 3 records i want it to save only 3 rows of data.

3)And also when i click on Add New Line Item Icon in the screen i want powerapps to addd a new, 3 Text input controls automatically (ID,ITEM,QTY).(Is this possible?).

Thank you.
