Is it possible to build a "move along" line chart showing sensor readings...?

I am building a simulator app that uses the device sensors for location and acceleration/movement.

I would like to have some graph/chart/level show the current acceleration value, it being the typical feedback to a user when shaking the tablet or phone.

I did try the Radial Gauge but found it very limited.

I am now considering a line chart filling up from the right with new acceleration readings and moving left when they are added as time passes. I would likely hence need to add data points with a timestamp to a data series continuously, while removing the oldest value held.

Is this doable? How do I create the "round-robin" data addition functionality? How do I make the line chart scroll?

And it it not possible, is there any other smart way to handle this?
