Is it possible to import an already Flow/PowerApps into a new solution?
We are planning to put some of the related Flows and PowerApps into a solution.
But don't know how to achieve it. Any ideas without recreating them from scratch?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes. The Solution Manager does allow adding an existing PowerApp or Flow.
Are you working with a Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solution using the classic solution explorer or a Common Data Service solution (available from Solutions on https://make.powerapps.com)?
Per the documentation, there are limitations when working with PowerApps or Flows in solutions;
The link below goes into detail on adding an existing component, ie PowerApp or Flow.
Long story short, once you open the solution use the Add Existing feature to add existing Flows or Power Apps. If you are still needing assistance, be sure to let us know if you are using the classic solution explorer and how your flow is triggered.
@monty-power-app Yes, I'm still not able to see my flows when I select the add existing.
I currently use schedule, HTTP Request triggers. But I don't know why it is now showing up.
And I did find this line - You cannot move non-solution-aware flows (flows not created in a solution) into a solution.
in this documentation https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/overview-solution-flows
Hi @balaji ,
One workaround might be to create a new solution-aware Flow with the same trigger and copy/paste the steps from the non-solution aware Flow. PowerApps Studio has a new Clipboard feature that would be useful.
