Is it possible to open or view a document stored in Sharepoint with Powerapps?

Hi all,

I´m kind of new with Powerapps, so here is my usecase:

I create a list item in SPO based on a Powerapps formular.  Once the item is created a Flow runs to create a document library file based on the list item and a copied document (this flow takes about 20 sec).

What I  want is to open or show this created document automatically within the Powerapp formular or at least to show the link to the document file.

Is this somehow possible?

Hi @Chriss1982 ,

Do you add a "Linktodocument" field in your SP List to store the Hyperlink URL of the created document in your SP Library?

If you want to launch the document via the Launch function in PowerApps Custom Form within your SP List, I think there is something wrong with your formula.

Please consider modify your formula as below:

Launch(SharePointIntegration.Selected.Linktodocument)

On your side, you could edit your created item, then go to the second screen, then press the "Open Document" button to launch the related doc.

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.

You can create a dynamic link using flow.

However you can use

launch("InsertURLHere") to get the ball rolling on opening the destination where the files are saved

Hi @iiBzY ,

thanks for your support.

I´m struggling to implement this launch command.

Via Flow I´ve updated the the created list item with the link to the document after I hit the save button within the Powerapps form.

What I want now is to add a second screen in the form with a button which launches the document but the command: Launch(Thisitem.linktodocument) does not work.
