I'm working on an organization app that allows us to control some GSM modules that require programming, I've already figured out how to send messages, or at least launch the messaging app with the number and the text body filled in. But there's a "status" command which sends a response from the GSM module with battery data, and some other stuff.
I'm trying to retrieve that info from the SMS response to be stored in a SharePoint from Power Apps. And I've seen some other apps retrieve authentication codes from SMS recently, so I was wondering if it was possible to do on this platform.
Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @Anonymous
Unfortunately, no - it's not possible to retrieve SMS content from Power Apps, or to retrieve status commands.
For the Android player, it doesn't request the Messaging/SMS permission, so there would be no way for it to access that part of the device.
