Is there a command to close a sharepoint list form so you don't navigate back to the list?

I've customised a SP list form which I want the users to edit. I've hyperlinked them to get to this list item form but if they save their changes they navigate back to the list which I don't want.

Is it possible to put a command into the onselect property of the save button to just close the browser tab?

Thank you.

If you're providing a direct link to the App and then expecting to have that exit and not show the list/browser, you should really consider a standalone app and not a Form Customization.

With the standalone app, you can provide the link - users can save and your app can then close.

Otherwise, with a SP form customization, there is no way to close the browser from within the app save.

I hope this is helpful for you.
