Is there any kind of "advanced"/"second level"/etc support which might be able to give me some answers to some of the seemingly more involved questions that have popped up for me while using PowerApps?

The PowerApps Support part (https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/support/) is a good place where you could get a proper workaround when you have something issue in using PowerApps.
If you still could not fix your problem through PowerApps Support part (via Documentation, Ask the Community, etc), you could consider take a try to submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:
