Issue Using app by other users

Hi MS!

When my app is being used by other users the app shows the following message "Fail to load (Data Source). the specified record was not found". the app is linked to onedrive, and all the documents linked to the app are shared with the users of the app.

I have been trying to do so many things to solve the problem but i have not gotten any solution.

Please help me, the app is so important for my organization.

Wait responds.

Hi @GreenRedBlue13,

If here you are using the OneDrive, then please share the folder which contains the actual file.

For OneDrive for Business, share the file itself.

For more details, see:

Share Excel data used by your App

Let me know if this works.

Regards,

Michael

Hi @GreenRedBlue13,

Which storage you used here, OneDrive, or OneDrive for Business?

Have you checked the limitations part?

"

Sharing Excel tables

To share data in an Excel file:

  • In OneDrive for Business, share the file itself.
  • In OneDrive, share the folder that contains the file, and specify file paths, not URLs, for any media.
  • In Dropbox or Google Drive, share either the file or the folder.

"

If the Shared App is still not working, please try to collect the Session ID, which could be found under:

Get a Session ID

Together with the device information.

I will then forward your issue from my side.

Or you may take a look and try the support methods mentioned in the following blog:
