Issue running a canvas app after publishing it

I have a form that displays an item based on the gallery selected item. If the gallery contains no items I get 'No item to display' in dev mode:
noitem.PNG

But when running published app I get 'Getting your data' message:

gettingdata.PNG

Why is that?

p.s. datasource is sharepoint list.

Hi @GuestOnaQuest ,

Which kind of App are you describing? Standalone PowerApp or SharePoint custom Form by PowerApps?

Can you share the Items property of Form?

It seems that PowerApps cannot connect to the SharePoint list items. It may caused by the instability of SharePoint connection

My suggestion is to delete the SharePoint connection and re- add it again to check if your issue is fixed

Also you can try in another apps to see if this issue is caused by formulas or SharePoint connection.

Best regards,

Sik

Well the easiest way to solve the issue is by simply adding a rectangle with text label saying the correct message that would be visible when there is no items (use of CountRows func) to be returned.

Formula I use itself is valid except part which establishes is the value of boolean column (Yes/No) in SP list. More info of that bug could be found here

P.S. Readding the datasource did not solve the issue.
