Issue with LookUp saying my Result is a Table?

Using this formula below on a drop down box's "OnChange" setting.

Set(varECName,LookUp('Customer Lookup',Name=DropdownExistingCustomer.Selected.Name,Concatenate('Customer Lookup'.'Mail Address'," ",'Customer Lookup'.'Mail City',",",'Customer Lookup'.State," ",'Customer Lookup'.'Zip Code'," ",'Customer Lookup'.'Mail Country')))

Then when I try to add:

VarECName.Result to my text field it yells that it's looking at a table? I'm sure it's an easy fix but i cant seem to figure it out...

Hi @Spassler ,

Try this format instead

With(
   {
      wRecord:
      LookUp(
         'Customer Lookup',
         Name=DropdownExistingCustomer.Selected.Name
      )
   },
   Set(
      varECName,
      wRecord.'Mail Address' & "," &
      wRecord.Mail City' & "," &
      wRecord.State & "," &
      wRecord.'Zip Code' & "," &
      wRecord.'Mail Country'
   )
)

@WarrenBelz

Thanks, it worked. But how did you know about wRecord? (and what does it stand for?) I cant find that reference on Microsofts Power Apps Website?

I've, still so much to learn!

Hi @Spassler ,

You won't - that is a temporary variable - you can call it HomerSimpson if you like.
