Issue with mobile apps launch google maps

Hi everyone,

I will explain in a few row my project to make my issue clear to understand.

I realize a simple app following this link https://www.powerobjects.com/services/powerapps/?wvideo=u9fqdh9jbh

What i got is the image attached.

I applied to the singolar icons a launch function.

for the Phone icon

Spoiler
Launch("tel:"&If(IsEmpty(LookUp(Contacts;contactid=ThisItem.'Contact Name';'Business Phone'));LookUp(Contacts;contactid=ThisItem.'Contact Name';'Mobile Phone');LookUp(Contacts;contactid=ThisItem.'Contact Name';'Business Phone')))

NB. i used the lookup function to get the data from other entity.

Output: it works. When i tap the icon it launch a call to the right telefon number that i passed as a parameter.

For the SMS icon i did the same (i just change from "tel:" to "SMS:") and it works too.

Finaly i used the Launch fucntion also to launch google maps from my Smartphone when i tap the Cars icon as below:

Spoiler
Set(AddressLocation;location);;Enable([@Location]);;Launch(Concatenate("https://www.google.com/maps/dir/";Substitute(Text([@Location].Latitude);",";".");",";Substitute(Text...);" ";"+")))

When i tap the icon from my PowerApps from smartphone (or tablet, ipad too) it DOESN'T WORK!

Can please some one help me to understand why it doesn't work?

More info: i don't have google api key - i don't really think it needs, but... someone i'm sure will know it better then me.

Thanks

Andi

Re: Issue with mobile apps launch google maps

Hi @MARIOROSSIBEAN ,

Modify the Google Map launch formula as follows:

Set(AddressLocation,Location);Enable([@Location]);Launch(Concatenate("https://www.google.com/maps/@",Text(AddressLocation.Latitude),",",Text(AddressLocation.Longitude),",15z"))
I have tested this out and this works fine in my devices.

Hope this Helps!

Hi @MARIOROSSIBEAN ,

Please try this formula:

Launch("http://maps.google.com/?q="&EncodeUrl("locationtext"))
