Issues with Power Apps Player on Android

I made an app to run on PC or Mobile. It's great on iOS but having some issues on android. The apps are being run in the Power Apps player.

The first is it takes a long time for the Power App to recognize that the app has been updated.

This is a word game. There are two ways to enter the word into the text box. Click on a letter in the gallery or type the word in. The default property for the text input is:

Concat(Sort(Filter(GalleryGameBoard.AllItems, ShowSelect), WordSort), Letter & "")

On the Android, when tapping the letters in the gallery to spell out the word, the keyboard flashes on each time you tap a letter, which is really annoying.

If you tap the text input the keyboard opens up and takes up half the screen.

Is there any way to mitigate these effects?
