JSON Array

Hello,

I hope you can help me with this. I have an SQL Server view (columns Status and Summary). The Status column has JSON array data in the column.

Status                                                        Summary

{ "ID": 1 , "StatusName": "Active"}            Problem Description 1

{ "ID": 2 , "StatusName": "Closed"}           Problem Description 2

{ "ID": 3 , "StatusName": "In Progress"}    Problem Description 3

How can I get the data in this format in the collection, so I chart the data?

Status                              Summary

Active                               Problem Description 1

Closed                               Problem Description 2

In Progress                        Problem Description 3

Thank you so much!

Re: JSON Array

Hi @DMum

PA does not understand JSON

You would have to play with strings

example:

Substitute(Substitute( Last(Split(Label.Text,":")).Result,"""",""),"}","")

Use AddColumns and accordingly update your collection (replace the label.text with the context of your column)

JSON Array

Hello,

I have been having issue with trying to write a valid JSON code on a APEND TO ARRAY VARIABLE, and I believe I have formatted it the right way but its still saying my code is not valid. Please can someone outline to me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks
