Large excel file with 200k records not working

File size above allowed value. File size:147662169, AllowedFileSize (in Bytes): 2000000. I get this error when I attach large excel file with 200k records in powerapps datasource from one drive.

Hi AmitLoh,

When did this error happen? When you trying to connect to onedrive? Also, is it true that your file size is 147662169 in Bytes?

Mona

yes the file size is 147662169  in bytes.

Hi,

Then I think this is the cause. The error indicates that the Allowed Excel File Size connected to PowerAppps is 2000000 in bytes. Please reduce the file size and then have a try.

Regards,

Mona

Hello,

I've got the same problem. I only want a read only app. My file is 491KB and it keeps around this number when my users edit this file.

But when my powerapp reads from it: it jumps to 2.2MB.

Is there any solution for that problem?

Thx.

Any reply to this topic? Im having the same issue when I use powerapps to write  back to excel the file goes from 184kb to 2.88 mb and then breaks the file ( Im editing an already existing row with the word "Test" in it and it breaks). Any answers would be helpful.
