Launch URL re-directing to preview.create.powerapps.com or prod-westus2.azureedge.net/Error

Hello,

I've created a gallery with HTML links from a collection.

one of the columns is for a URL I would like to use with Launch.

I have it configured with OnSelect: Launch(ThisItem.URL)

When I try to click on the links, it populates the address field  with https://preview.create.powerapps.com/studio/%22<<MYURLHERE>>%22

<<MYURLHERE>> is the correct address though. So its just adding the power apps URL in front, and a double %22.

I hope that makes sense. When I use ThisItem.URL as the displayed text, the URL is correct.

This is when editing the app from inside power apps.

If I publish the app, and visit it outside the editor stand alone, the same links (all of them) redirect me to

"https://prod-westus2.azureedge.net/Error"

Sorry, something went wrong...

To fix it, sign out and try again.

This is with Chrome or I.E.
I've looked everywhere online and cannot find what might be causing this. Thanks!

Re: Launch URL re-directing to preview.create.powerapps.com or prod-westus2.azureedge.net/Error

Hi @matths,

Could you please share a bit more about the collection that you mentioned within your app?

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The screenshot as below:5.JPG

6.JPG

Set the OnVisible property of the first screen to following formula:

ClearCollect(
UrlLinks,
{SiteName:"Google",URL:"https://google.com"},
{SiteName:"Baidu",URL:"https://www.baidu.com"},
{SiteName:"Amazon",URL:"https://www.amazon.com/"}
)

Set the Items property of the Gallery control to following formula:

UrlLinks

Set the OnSelect property of the "Navigate" button control to following formula:

Launch(ThisItem.URL)

The GIF image as below:Test1.gif

Please take a try to re-create your app, then check if the issue is solved on your side.

Best regards,

Kris
