Launch iOS Settings From Powerapps

Hello,

Is there a way to launch iOS Settings from powerapps? I know there is a way to launch SMS from powerapps and I have not been able to find a way to launch settings yet!

If anyone has any idea on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it!

Best,

Maxwell

Hi Maxwell,

Well the Settings App for iOS and iPadOS support multiple URLs. You can launch other Apps or navigate to these URLs using the Launch function in PowerApps. While we don't know exactly all the URLs that are made available by Apple you can try the following:

Example:

Launch("app-settings:root=General")

Documentation (Launch function):

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-param

Settings URLs:

https://www.macstories.net/ios/a-comprehensive-guide-to-all-120-settings-urls-supported-by-ios-and-i...

Hope this helps 🙂

Please remember to mark this answer as a solution if it does fit your expectations and keep in mind these URLs might not be fully supported by Apple.

Best regards,

Hello!

Thank you so much for sending the all of the documentation along with the string below! I plugged it in and it launches settings perfectly!

Launch("app-settings:root=General")

Great! Glad I could help in such a short notice 🙂
