Launch url on push notification

Hi

We have developed an application which is a repository for Microsoft related blog updates. kind of like a news hub.

Blog updates are captured in a SP list based on RSS triggers.

Now, whenever the end users receives a push notification (when a record is created), we would like to open the specific URL to that blog list, that is the value inside of a SP column of that newly create record.

Is it possible to launch an external URL from Power Apps push notification?

Thank you in advance & kind regards

Dont put it in StartScreen, put it in OnStart or similar, but you would need to have a IF statement which checks if the parameter is present, otherwise the app should start normally.

Hello @NativeNass_ ,

You probably could add some parameters to the notifcation, which the app then checks, and then opens the url. But i havn't tested this. You can open a URL with the code below.

Launch("https://www.bing.com")

Hi

On the Push Notification I have been playing around with some Parameters:

The LaunchUrl is the relevant one, and the 'Link to Article' is basically the URL for the blogpost.

But when i Reference it in startscreen, I get the following:

Probably because it isn't a screen in the app?

Kind regards and thank you in advance

Think I was staring at a solution for too long that I just lost it completely.

Kind regards!
