Leave Request template

Hi All,

I am using leave request template in my org and I want to link it to share point instead of using it in Excel, I also want to send a mail for the manager for the approval of leave request, Instead of Manager going to the app and approving from the App.

All your are welcome and much appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Siva

Hi @stadi ,

To replace the Excel data source by SharePoint list, first to create the SharePoint lists with the same data construct as the Excel Tables(Leave, Holidays and Balance). Make sure the column types, column names, table names consistent.

When all lists are created, First Delete OneDrive for business connections for three Tables, and then add SharePoint connection to connect to three lists with the same name as Excel tables. Then all formulas are automatically adapted to the newly added lists.

To your second requirement, it can be implemented by Approval Flow. Create an Approval Flow and apply it in the OnVisible property of ConfirmationScreen.

In Approval Flow, you need to achieve the same logic in corresponding condition as the code configured in Approve and Decline button as follows, to modify the balance based on the leave type and change the Leave statue.

Hope this helps.

Hi, All

I am trying to replace the excel spreadsheet with sharepoint list for the leave request template. I followed the steps in Sik's post. I created 3 Sharepoint Lists - Holidays, Balance and Leave with same data construct. See screen captures below .

I deleted the connections to the original data.xlsx spreadsheet and added the connections to similarly named sharepoint lists. See screen captures below.   connectionsconnectionsthe left However, navigation not showing in home screen, create request screen.  See screen captures. Any help to show the way forward and resolve the issue is much appreciated! I am very new in power apps and has little or no programming background. However, I am very keen to learn. Please help. 😓homescreenhomescreennew requestnew request
