Hello,
I am pretty new in Power Apps, so I am very sry if my question sound super silly.
I want to know which licence I need to use "Populate a Word template" from Word Online (Business). I have a trial "Power App user licence". The describtion inscludes some notes about that premium conenctor are included. But I still cant use the function above in a flow that I want to integrate on a button in Power Apps.
I tried the "Power automate user license" as well but still dont get acces to it.
I am very gratful for your help.
Sincerly Vini
Populate a Word template requires either a Power Apps per user or per app license. If you have a trial license that should be good enough. What happens when you try to build the flow with that action and attach it to a Power App.
Search first for 'Word Online' and choose the connector in the top box. Then you'll see the action in the bottom one. The search for the actual action doesn't always work if the naming isn't exactly the same. Better to narrow it to the connector first if you don't see what you want when you search.
The action should be there whether you have a license to use it or not. If you use it you'll get an error when you try to run the flow, not when you try to build it. Does the Word Online connector show up when you search for that? If not its probably been blocked for this environment using Data Policies in the Power Platform admin center.
Ok I got it. When I tip it in, I have choose trigger at first, click it and than it shows up the actions. What the [pieeep} Thanks a lot for your help.
