Me: License M365 E3, Office ProPlus, PowerApps P2
Me: Build model-driven app, dipping into Dynamics config daily for settings
Me: Read MSFT docs for guidance on how to implement - all Dynamics 365 CE content
Me: Setup server-side integration between Dynamics instance and SharePoint to store documents. SharePoint site URL verified and accepted, however, unable to configure Document Management settings in Dynamics
Me: 6 MSFT Support calls, "that's a Dynamics problem talk to them", "that's an Office problem, talk to them", "that's a Billing and Licensing problem", "that's a PowerApps problem" ...
MSFT: You don't have a Dynmamics license
Me: No, but there's a checkbox on each of my entities that says "Enable SharePoint document management" and look: PowerApps makers can create mashup apps with sharepoint document libraries and Licensing overview ... wait... what does that mean?
I still can't find any material that says to allow PowerApps entities to use SharePoint to store documents you need a Dynamics license.

Hi Yumia,
Wanted to let you know that a support person was able to resolve this and include the link to the other thread that I updated with the resolution.
Thanks!
Standalone model-driven apps do not support SharePoint document management.

Hi Yumia,
Thank you for your reply. Would you mind taking a moment to validate the steps in that documentation?
I am guessing you have licenses for all of the tools, but for this validation you may need to create a new account with trials with only the following: O365, PowerApps
(do not add a D365 license trial)
Create a new model-driven app and use the documentation you referenced to setup doc storage in sharepoint.
I am very hopeful you get a different result than me!
