Licensing requirements for Consumers of App using Premium connector

TLDR: Does every app user/consumer need a $10 per app license to use a Power App with SQL connector (premium)

We have an app that uses SQL Gateway backend with the premium connector. The developer accounts are fine, but users are having issues. Something about access.
Was wondering if anyone else has issues with premium connectors for E3/E5 users, because they don't have Per App license.

Hi @mhan1

The E3/E5 license doesn't support premium connector. The answer must be yes, all your end users of this app need a per app (per user) license.

Hi @mhan1

Yes, every user that uses an app that connects to SQL Server will require a premium license which starts from $10/user/month.

The Microsoft E3/E5 plan does not provide access to SQL or premium connectors.
