Hi all
I'm looking for a way to retrieve the "description" field of a URL/link collumn of a Sharepoint list. All I seem to be able to get is the link. Any ideas?
Thanks
Benedikt

Hi @Benedikt ,
Do you want to retrieve the "Description" field (display text) of the Hyperlink column of your SP list within an canvas app?
If you want to retrieve the "Description" field (display text) of the Hyperlink column of your SP list within an canvas app, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.
Currently, the "Description" field (display text) of the Hyperlink column in a SP list is not supported within PowerApps, if you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

As an alternative solution, you could consider add a Single text column (called "Description") in your SP list to store the description info about the corresponding URL Link. Then within your app, you could get the Description field value directly.
Best regards,
The only description field I am aware of for a Hyperlink column in SharePoint is the description on the column itself. The individual items in the column only have a Link URL. There is no text description associated with them. So i'm not sure what you are trying to retrieve.
