Link to launch Powerapps

Hello,

I am simply trying to force powerapps to open via a URL. At the moment I have a system where we get alerts Microsoft Teams and in those alerts I provide the URL to the application.

I tried doing:

<a href='ms-apps:///providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apps/appID'> Link 1 </a>

<a href='https://web.powerapps.com/apps/appID'> LInk 2</a>

Link 1 does not work, the url itself is not clickable via teams. The second link does open and forces you to use the webapp, this would be fine however a third of the page is taken up by the think border and headers. I really need to have it full screen.

I then tried:

<a href='https://web.powerapps.com/apps/appID/open'>Link3</a>

I get the Microsoft page to download Powerapps but I then get an error saying that "No available apps ... There are no apps on this device that your organisation allows to open this content..." Currently my organisation is using the Microsoft InTunes I believe that it preventing me from doing what i need.

At this point im looking for workarounds, curios to know if anyone knows a way to get this app in fullscreen in a browser or even get it full screen via Teams. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried adding the app as a Tab in your channel in Teams?  This is how I make apps available in Teams.

PAinTeams.jpg

It will then show up as a new tab next to your Conversations, Files, Wiki and whatever tabs you have added.

hi, do you have a solution to the above links? Namely, I face a similar problem and want to run powerapps locally as a desktop app ^^ but without a browser

It seems not possible to use DeepLinking with Mobile App. The DeepLinking will always open the PowerApps in Browser-Web-Form, but never directly in Power Apps Mobile App.

DeepLinks dont work with the function call to Mobile apps, like these samples:

ms-apps:///providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apps/<AppID>

ms-apps:///providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apps/668022c8-d53f-4cb9-8624-7c6c452fbf4f?ItemID=20
this does not work.
Thats bad.
Because we can not open Links to Item directly in Mobile App.
