List Threshold Error when Adding a new item in a Large SharePoint List

i Have 2 large SharePoint Lists that are 6000 items and 7000 items respectively. WHen i try to add a new item on Powerapps i get this threshold limit error even though the item is added. This error message is distracting for the users

Does anyone have an idea how i can get rid of this error message?

i have tried indexing some fields in SharePoint, but currently have no clue if thats doing anything

Are you adding the new item using Patch or Submitting a bound Form?

Re: List Threshold Error when Adding a new item in a Large SharePoint List

Hi @Gottijay2000

adding items to lists should not be a problem unless you have some logic to check/filter the data source in there

You will need to ensure each query to the list columns needs to be indexed

So if you are filtering on a column - that col has to be indexed

If you are sorting on a column - that col has to be indexed

Moreover, you can use IfError function in PA to gracefully handle the error https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-iferror
