List box changes to default values on Edit Mode

Hello,

My app has few list box and drop down controls. User selects multiple items on list box and saves. This part works perfectly fine. Upon edit, list box changes back to default values. Is there any way i can set the listbox to its original values user selected?

I have tried two things but did not work.

1. Changed the listbox default to  if(editform.mode=formmode.edit,parent.default)

2. Created a texinput and set its default value to If(Len(gallery.select.name)=0," ",Parent.Default). Changed the listbox default value to If(textinput.text=" ","none",parent.default)

I would appreciate the help.

Thanks!

Hi @rameshkc,

Did you mean that you edit the items inside the list box and save them back to the same data source in list box. But the changes are not shown in List box?

That's correct. My data source is SQL.  When i first create a item, it saves all the values i selected from list box. But when i edit the same item, the values from list box changes to default (none) and saves. I would like to keep the items same if i did not change anything from list box.

Thanks!

Ramesh
