Thanks fo rall your help, getting better but not there yet. Have read and tried quite a few differnt posts but none have worked.
Issue: Populate 2nd listbox from 1st listbox selection filtered from SharePoint list.
Project (populates lstProjects.Items = Projects.Title
SupplierContractors Want to poplulate based on lstProjects.Selected, but filtered by SharePoint list LookupProjectSupplierContractors and only show SupplierContractors where Project=lstProjects.
Value in Filter(LookupProjectSupplierContractor, Project = ListBox1.Selected).Title)
Attached image PowerAppView explains...
@dthope69you will want to filter your second list from the choice in the first.
First list is lstProjects and has Items set to Projects.Title
You will want your 2nd listbox to have this for its Items property:
Filter('Supplier Contractor', Title in Filter(LookupProjectSupplierContractor, Project = ListBox1.Selected).Title)
Okay - all good but...are these columns really text columns, or are they lookup columns? If they are lookup columns then this will not work you will need to base your filters on the Id's not the Titles.
And, if they are string columns, then wouldn't the LookupProjectSupplierContractor list already have the value you are looking for? If it really is string columns, then you are using the string value of the Contractor (let's say 'ABC Co') to then find the referenced title in the Supply Contractor list so that you can return the Title ('ABC Co')...they are one and the same.
Hope this helps some.
Hello, yes the columns SupplierContractor and Project are both lookup columns the the list LookupProjectSupllierContractor. These two columns (SupplierContractor and Project) come from the lists Projects with Id and Title, and ProjectSuppliers with Id and Title.
Tried different things with what you sent, no luck...
