Loading Spinners appears when it filters the gallery

Hi,

My gallery has a lot of data and the filtering time sometimes takes moments. I want to create a simple gif with information about loading data but I am facing a problem with setting the right parameters

The loading icon appears only for moments 

Gallery7_1 = > Items => glbData

Image1_1 => Visible  => glbSpinner

I am trying to make it so that the icon only appears when the gallery is filtered

Hi @OgOrowy ,

This is always a conundrum as there is no trigger when a gallery is loaded visibly. I am assuming here that the Items of your gallery is glbData (I am wondering however why you simply do not make it the Filter inside this). As this is a Delegable filter, and assuming from your gallery will load at least 100 items (this is the size of the "batch" loaded until the users scrolls down for the next 100). So you can still use the same code, but leave off the last false setting (you will need to do this when you exit the screen)

and set the Visible of the spinner to

gblSpinner && CountRows(GalleryName.AllItems) < 100

Please note this is a workaround and is the best I can think of.

I don't know if I understood you correctly my scenario predicts

1. pushes in Textlnput7_6 the word "Now"
2. appears in the middle of Spinners
3. the gallery filters out all the data
4. the Spinners disappears

What exactly are you saying in you last response. All I suggested was keeping the spinner visible until 100 records have been loaded in the gallery - nothing else has been changed in your code.

I tried to put this set in the gallery but an error pops up

You cannot put an action in a Filter - in what I posted, it was before the Variable was set. As I said originally, you need to set the Variable at the trigger the gallery starting to load - maybe Screen OnVisible

Thank you very much for your help. I now understand your premise. Unfortunately, it will not work for me. Unfortunately there are cases when the gallery will load above 100 (rare but can happen)
Understands that at this point there is no simple preview of the gallery loading. The only option is to set a timer for about 10-15s or translate the walking ants at the top of the screen 😉
