Lock Aspect Ratio: Broken?

So I already posted a topic about this last week but did not get any responses. After looking a bit more into it, I figured out how to replicate on my other apps.

The problem: "Lock aspect ratio"/"Scale to fit" setting does not work correctly on a new app I made. With it enabled, the app still tries to fill the screen and, in turn, messes with the sizes of my components.

What I found out, going to my other apps that I made a few months back:

1) I checked to make sure that Lock aspect ratio is turned on, which it is.

2) Then I check the app in teams, looks good, aspect ratio is kept. (image 1 below)
3) Next I disable the lock aspect ratio and scale to fit settings. Publish changes. Check teams. App tries to fill the screen and the aspect ratio is not kept as would be expected. (image 2 below)

4) Finally I went back and reenabled the scale to fit and lock aspect ratio settings, publish, refresh teams. Now everything is different sizes than they should be, things are in different locations, etc. (image 3 below)

The only thing that I can do to get it back to normal is reverting to a previous version.

What this looks like:

Before disabling "scale to fit" and "lock aspect ratio":

After disabling "scale to fit" and "lock aspect ratio" (everything in the top left and the background fills to the right only):

img 2

After reenabling "scale to fit" and "lock aspect ratio" (all components seem to be trying to dynamically fill the space causing weird size issues):

If anyone has run into this before, is there a way to fix it besides rolling back to previous versions?

Again I am trying to fix another one of my apps that is stuck in either the 2nd or 3rd state shown above, and I want it to be in the first.

Any help is really appreciated. Thank you!

Yah you cant just move components around etc anymore once you toggle that stuff of, and honestly never should. You should set everythings height, width, x and y to math formulas based on the App.Width and App.Height. Every screen too, should also be set to have its height = App.Height, and its width to App.Width. this is the only way to make apps accurately scale from device to device and look the same whether on a pc, ipad or phone. Technically your font sizes should also be based on these

No yah the values for every control in the app changed the first time you toggled it. The controls have no like memory or something to roll back to because the new sizes and coords overwrote the old. You will need to roll back the app, or just redo them all by hand

Set those up, or lock orientation if wanted on that one

then set that bg image width to App.Width. its height to whatver you want. and its x and y to 0

Yes, those were the setting that I was toggling in steps 1-4 defined in the original post. The problem is by toggling them, it breaks component sizes/or just straight up does not work. The background image has nothing to do with this issue, my other app has the same problem and with no background image.

This problem makes my app completely unusable on other screens. I have tried fixing the widths/heights/x/y of every component. It still just tries dynamically resizing everything no matter what I do.

The problem is I want the aspect ratio to be locked.
I guess my question is: Is there a way to toggle the "lock aspect ratio" back on once it is turned off? Obviously, there is a physical toggle there that I can switch back on, but it doesn't seem to do anything useful, as seen in image 3.

I want the app to display with the exact same way as it does in the editor regardless of screen size. I know it's possible because, before turning off lock aspect ratio the first time, it acts this way. You can also see this by looking at the black bars on the top and bottom of the app on image 1.

Also, I never moved any components around. The only change I made to the app from the start to the end was turn the lock aspect ratio setting off and then turned it back on. Which broke the sizes of things.

Ahh I see, setting the width and height on screens to App.Width and App.Height respectively did work.

I think what confused me was that the screen dimensions were set to these value before and after it broke, so I was confused as to what had changed between the versions that needed to be converted back.

Max(App.Width, App.MinScreenWidth)

and

Max(App.Height, App.MinScreenHeight)

Anyway, thank you again for taking the time to help. This has been bothering me for weeks.
