Lookup Function Label within a Gallery Item

Any idea why this function isn't working?  I see there's a delegation issue (I'm not sure why since I'm using CDS).  Is that the issue, or something else?

This gallery is an entity called "Reserved Stocks" - which has a n:n with a "Inventories"

The barcode_text and ReservedStock_ID are just unique identifiers, and the commercial_name is the field I'm trying to show.

Re: Lookup Function Label within a Gallery Item

Please have tested this:

LookUp(Inventories,BarCode_Text=ThisItem.ReservedStock_ID ,Commercial_Name)

If this Helped, give thumps up, if it resolved, Mark as a solution

This is interesting.  So, when I use the formula outside of the gallery it works (changing ThisItem to gallery.selected).  But within the gallery I just get an error.

LookUp(Inventories,BarCode_Text=ThisItem.ReservedStock_ID ,Commercial_Name)

Create a collection for Inventory and use that as datasource. ClearCollect(myInventory,Inventory) and use myInventory.

That's actually how I started out, but it's not possible because the clearcollect & Collect functions are non-delegatable.
