Lookup as datatype not appearring on SQL Azure

Following "https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/support-for-lookups/"

Quote:

"

Note: Expect lookups to work for any relational data source such as CRM, SQL on Azure, etc to work the same way they work for SharePoint."

I have a table in SQL Azure with a foreign key , generate an app but the lookup shows as datatype selection is not an option. The control created is a textbox - not a drop down

- Any pointers?

Hi @EdRichardSRG,

Yes, the foreign key from SQL Server won't show up as Lookup Type, it will just show as the type defined within that table.

I think the Note should mean the Lookup type would be added for SQL and CRM Data.

Besides, to workaround this, please follow what Meneghino suggested in the thread below:

Lookup on SQL Server

Regards,

Michael
