Make control Visible from Toggle

It seems like this should be easy, but I can't figure it out. I've searched the PowerApps forums, but can't find anything helpful.

I have created a PowerApp from a SharePoint list.

In the PowerApp, I have a Yes/No (true/false) toggle control called "Special Requirements" and a text control called "Explain".

I would like to have the Explain control become Visible only when the Special Requirements toggle is flipped to Yes (true). And likewise made not Visible when toggled to No (false).

Can someone give me a bit of guidance?

Thanks.

Re: Make control Visible from Toggle

You need to set Explain control's Visible property to 'Special Requirements'.Value

i.e. Explain.Visible = 'Special Requirements'.Value

Hope this helps

Thanks

Re: Make control Visible from Toggle

Thank you for your quick response.

When I put SpecialRequirements.Value in Explain.Visible, I get, "   Invalid use of '.'  "

If I remove the .Value and just put SpecialRequirements in Explain.Visible, toggling "Special Requirements" does nothing.

Re: Make control Visible from Toggle

What is the name of the control that you are referring to, is it SpecialRequirements or Special Requirements? If it's the latter, you need to quote it like 'Special Requirements'

Re: Make control Visible from Toggle

Hi, Murali. Sorry I'm not being clear. And let me use the acual names of the controls in question.

Toggle Control name: Special_x0020_Access_x0020_Requi

Text Control name: Special_x0020_Access_x0020_Notes

The picture below shows the .Visible property of Special_x0020_Access_x0020_Notes when I try to enter what you suggest

Re: Make control Visible from Toggle

Are you sure those are the control names? They look more like field names from SharePoint. Could you double check the control names?

Can you make your snapshot a little bigger by including the menu bar as well?

You are absolutely, bloody RIGHT! I was looking at the wrong name(s). Now it works! Thank you very, very much indeed.
