Mark items in list with color based on dropdown filters

Dear Experts,

I am creating my first app and haivng a confusion with filters.

I am trying to create next. I have a screen "PCPFilter" with 4 dropdown options which fiter my data "Table1_2" based on chosen dropdown options. The output is column "Competency Element" and "Proficiency Level Criteria".

PCP filter.JPG

And I have a screen "PCP" list (different data source Table1_3) with "Competency Element" and "Attained Proficiency Element".

This screen showing me data based on Current user.

////

SortByColumns(Search(Filter(Table1_3,Person_x0020_Name=gvCurrentUser.FullName),TextSearchBox1.Text, "Competency_x0020_Element"), "Competency_x0020_Element")

////

PCP.JPG

"Attained Proficiency Element" = "Proficiency Level Criteria" and it can be none, basic, intermediate, advanced. None is lowest, Advanced is highest.

Now I want to mark Competency element in screen "PCP" with green color if "Attained Proficiency Element" >= "Proficiency Level Criteria" or red if "Attained Proficiency Element" < "Proficiency Level Criteria" .

I hope you undertand what I want to create. I will appriciate your help and if you send the code which I shoud use as I am new in PowerApp.

Regards,

Svyatoslav

Re: Mark items in list with color based on dropdown filters

Hi @Svyatoslav ,

Do you want to mark items with different color?

I suggest you insert an icon in the gallery and set the icon's Fill:

If(condition1,red,condition2,green)

I've made a similar test for your reference:96.PNG

Here's my formula:

If(ThisItem.Country="Spain",Red,Green)

Re: Mark items in list with color based on dropdown filters

hi @Svyatoslav ,

I hope you are using Vertical Gallery Control for PCP Screen,  We can't set different colours for different items of a Vertical Gallery control as all of them inherit the Properties of Template Control(item).

Thanks

Re: Mark items in list with color based on dropdown filters

Hello @KKrishnapriya ,

Thank you for a fast reply!

Yes, I am using  "List" with "Title and Subtitele".

Is there a way to mark items in the list based on my filters? May be not color, but somthing different... For example to show in details that it is valid.
