Match row number between two tables

Canvas App

Database = Google Sheets tables

All Text Input are separate (no galleries in this one)

Using a dropdown for selecting which Item the rest of the app makes reference to a particular item's row in a table.  But I have more than one table related to the item and the data in each sequential rows is directly related to the the first table's row choice.  So if the Dropdown chooses item 2, then all tables 2nd row are related to that one item.  This is to avoid having a 3000 column table.

What is a good way to use the row number in column one to determine what row number is effected in another table's save.

Example:

Normally I have been doing this to make use Text Inputs to read & write over the table.

  • Table 1 named 'Table 1'
  • Table 2 named 'Table 2'
  • Dropdown named 'Item Picker', is set to "Lazer Monkey"
  • Text Input named 'Color_3 Input'
  • Save Button named 'Save Button'

Dropdown - OnChange: Set(ChoosenItem,'Item Picker'.Selected)

Text Input - Default:  'Item Picker'.Selected.Color_3

Save Button - OnSelect: Patch(
'Table 1','Item Picker'.Selected,
{Color_1:'Color_1 Input'.Text,
Color_2: 'Color_2 Input'.Text,

Color_3: 'Color_3 Input'.Text
}

But now I have to make reference to make reference to the other Table(Table 2) based on the Dropdown(Item Picker) and edit row 2 in this table too!!!

Table 2

What do I need to change in 'Table 1','Item Picker'.Selected, to make them work for Height, row 2?

Dropdown - OnChange: Set(ChoosenItem,'Item PIcker'.Selected)

Text Input - Default:  'Item Picker'.Selected.Height

Save Button - OnSelect: Patch(
'Table 1','Item Picker'.Selected,

{Height: 'Length Input'.Text,
Length: 'Height Input'.Text,

Width: 'Width Input'.Text
}
