Menu component stopped working. Published version still works. Restoring a previous version not helping

Hi all,

After weeks of using a navigation component it suddenly gives a red cross in edit mode and in preview.

In the published version it still works. I have restored that version, but it keeps giving the error.

In the component structure itself it doesn't give an error:

In the screen editor I get the error: "operator expected"

When I click on: edit in formula balk it goes to the fill option of the component.

No formula there where I should add a operator..

I don't even know where to start searching for the problem, the error description doesn't match the situation at all..

Hope someone can help!

Hello,

Same here, red cross in the screen editor and I get the error: "operator expected".

Component editor shows no error and published version of the App is OK.

I think this might be an issue on MS side.

The exact same issue here.

Goes to the "Fill" property, but the error message indicates something wrong with the width.

Same error message: "Operator expected..."

Worked two days ago, but cannot make it work even when reverting to an older version where it worked fine.

Edited.

Seems like, if I edit the width of the component. Just change it and immediately change it back, it works again. But when I publish the app, it's broken.
And when I close "edit mode" and re-opens in edit mode, the error is back.

Hi Celia, I have the same issue do to a localization MS side bug with a temporary resolution.

If my trick to fix it works please can you post on that message to help me to relay the information to MS (don't forget the powerapps version you use and your localization, France for me)

The trick posted by Kesh works for me. Work-around until fixed by MS.

@yhaugom , yes the solution of @Kesh works !!

The fix for this issue has been deployed in all regions. If you re-open the apps for editing the components should behave as they should.
