Message Getting your data

I have a stand alone canvas power app, data source is SharePoint.
I've deep linked a screen so when sent via email it will open the specific item in this detail screen instead of going to the main screen and then finding the item and then navigating to the detail screen.
Everyone has access to both the Power App and SharePoint.
The problem I have is, that when some click the link it works perfectly but others stay stuck on a screen that says "getting your data".
Does anyone know what is happening and how I can fix this?

When investigating, I found that my SharePoint list was blocked for security reasons. By unlocking the list and placing the members as contributors, this fixed the issue.

Is there any filtering of the Datasource based on the user. Do all users have some data or record in the Datasource

Yes I've been googling for days. Sorry I'm fairly new to PowerApps and learning as I go.
When following the information in the link you you posted above.
The screen I've deep linked to doesn't have a defaultmode in the dropdown choices.
It has Data - DataSource and Item and then Design  - BorderColor, BorderStyle, DorfertThickness, Fill, Height, etc... but not DefaultMode.
Is this because my screen is a display screen and not an edit screen? Should I change this? Will this fix the issue?
This is the screen that was created by default and I have another screen that is the edit screen. Should I deep link to the edit screen instead of the detail screen?

The only filtering is that it looks for the item ID  so it know which item to display in the screen and when I look at the information in the link, the item ID is there and correct.
